Tuesday, fourth week of Lent (St. Patrick)
Blessed St. Patrick’s Day!
You can find his story here.
O chosen people, proclaim the mighty works of Him
who called you out of darkness
into His wonderful light.
O God, who chose the bishop St. Patrick
to preach Your glory to the peoples of Ireland,
grant, through his merits and intercession,
that those who glory in the name of Christian
may never cease to proclaim Your wondrous deeds to all.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 4:7-11 (Be good stewards of God’s varies grace)
Psalm 96:1-3, 7-8, 10 “Proclaim God’s marvelous deeds to all the nations”
+Luke 5:1-11 (Fear not, you will be fishers of men)
I have a higher calling
than my earthly, daily grind.
The gifts God’s given me
were made for more,
into the lives I touch,
to win a “catch” for God
Do I put my gifts at the service of others?
Do they bring glory to God?
